Dr. Ricardo Gabriel is a British-Portuguese General Practitioner with an extensive and well-established career in primary care, having worked for over 13 years as a GP in the United Kingdom. His clinical experience is rooted in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within both the NHS and private healthcare sectors, particularly in central London and Edinburgh. Since relocating to Portugal in 2025, he has been providing high-standard, bilingual (Portuguese and English) medical care to both local residents and the international community in the Algarve. He currently practises at the Hospital Particular do Algarve – Unidade de Gambelas, offering modern, comprehensive care in a state-of-the-art facility.
In recent years, he has developed considerable experience in the use of GLP-1 receptor agonists for the treatment of obesity, and offers dedicated consultations for initiating and managing these innovative therapies.
